I have been wanting to create a blog to post reviews of the new reggae cds I am reviewing for use at the radio station. So I turned this ambition into a reality now that it is also an assignment. I will be posting these reviews on this class blog as per class requirements but they would be better viewed at:

Creating a cool looking and themed blog took longer than I thought. Fortunately i enjoy tinkering with things like this, but it was hard to find the time. I found a template at deceblog.net called City Tree after hours of looking through templates that were just not reggae enough. After a few hours of editing (with MSPaint mostly) there are no more hearts and the Red Gold and Green can be seen. You can compare here: original|Mine
After a while of looking at every available option and widget I got everything set how I wanted the best i could. I then decided to call it good as there is ample configuration option for me to spend more time tweaking than blogging. I stop just after I got the characiture of me in the sidebar.
For some of the posts I am able to provide a download of a feature track from the album. This is provided by the IODA Promonet with the only requirement being a link to buy the album. I have been a member of this network for a few years and used it previously on a podcast as well at KBVR for digital distribution. I am hoping that my readers will listen to the music while reading my reviews.
